Did he code it himself or did he just come up with the idea? Coming up with the idea isn't that hard, coding it is the hardest part.

He has born into a wealthy segment of society so he had access to capital to invest in a stupid facebook clone that nobody actually uses. After the bottom falls out he'll lose money,

As I suspected, on further research I realized this kid is merely an "ideas" guy who is nowhere near an intellectual prodigy. Literally anyone else could have done the same thing, but most of us are just too normal and practical to think that it would lead anywhere. How far have we fallen as a society where those who put forth the least effort are given the greatest rewards? Just keep in mind that anytime you download one of these pointless time-wasting applications on your phone, anytime you choose to follow one of the 1000s of popular yet pointless YouTube channels, anytime you follow one of those Instagram "model" accounts and anytime you pay attention to a pointless sponsorship, YOU are contributing to the downfall of modern western society.

A little help from wealthy parents goes a long way. Now the question is not whether he can make a lot of money, but rather what will he do with that money?
