Display, configuration and OS

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE comes with a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED large display sporting an excellent screen resolution of 1,536 x 2,048 pixels and pixel density 264 ppi. The tab runs the latest version of Android v5.0 (Lollipop) and is powered by 1.9GHz quad-core ARM Cortex A57 and a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex A53 on Exynos 5 chipset. It is boosted by a RAM of 3GB which ensures that the device functions smoothly even when multiple apps are running at the same time.

Camera and storage

The voice calling tab snaps an incandescent 8MP Primary camera that delights the photo addicts; but on the contrary it disappoints the self clickers with a 2.1MP front camera. The device has an internal memory of 32GB that can easily be strided further up to 128GB, excellent for storing a lot of content on the go.

Battery and connectivity

To keep the tablet awake, the device slots a 5,870mAH Li-Polymer, non-removable battery preventing a quick dry off. The tab holds almost all possible connectivity options including 3G, 4G, Wifi 802.11, A-GPS with Glonass, Mobile Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct and v4.1, BLE Bluetooth along with microUSB 2.0 port.

Verdict

Samsung being one of the best in business continues to write its success story with Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE, that features all the qualities that one expects from a brand like Samsung. It beds a good processor helped by a decent RAM which enhance multitasking. Besides, the calling smart tab can capture its subject from a distance with the presence of a good rear camera. The tab also scores high in the storage department that has a modest internal and a plunky external one. The battery backup here is quite average but looking at the other features you can always elude it.
