Design Of LG G6:

 LG G6 has all metal and glass unibody design. It has a metal frame with chamfered edges in between two pieces of Gorilla glass. The corners of the display are round to match the corner of the phone.

You will find volume rocker buttons on the left side, simcard tray (space for Micro SD card) on the right side, headphone jack on the top and USB type-c port, speaker grill, microphone on the bottom of the phone. On the backside is fingerprint scanner (power button) and dual camera with LED flash in between.

Features of LG G6


LG G6 comes with full vision QHD 5.7 inch IPS display that supports Dolby vision and HDR10. The display is clear, contrast is better and overall screen is brighter. The bezels are extremely thin not only on the side but also on the top and bottom of the phone. The front of the phone is made of Gorilla glass 3 and the back is made of Gorilla glass 5 while the dual camera lens is covered with Gorilla glass 4 to prevent from scratches. It is now IP68 certified which means it is dust proof and water-resistant upt span of over 1.5 meter and 30 minutes.

LG G6 is easy to use in one hand because of screen’s new aspect ratio which is 18:9 or you can even say 2:1. It makes screen taller and narrower allowing you to easily wrap your palm around it. Due to this ratio, the screen can be divided into two perfect squares which can be very useful for multitasking or even taking the photos.

Processor Of LG G6:


LG G6 uses Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 chipset. Though this is not the latest chipset, user experience is perfect according to the company. It has quad-core (2×2.35 GHz Kryo & 2×1.6 GHz Kryo) CPU.

The device uses Adreno 530 GPU and 4 GB LPDDR4 of RAM. Overall, the performance of LG G6 is good, it’s fast, smooth and better than before. It has 32 GB (Gigabyte) internal memory with expandable storage up to 2 TB (Terabyte).

Software and UI of LG G6:


LG G6 comes with new android OS (Nougat).

They have updated the GUI for G6 which is UX6.0 UI. It has got a refreshing new look with natural and vivid colour that you can see through many of the app including new set of wallpapers.

LG has also updated the icons to make them all of same size and hence they are more uniform. Note the all-rounded square to complement the rounded corners of the display and other elements like background of the folder. Pop-up menus also have rounded corners to match the corners of the screen.

Camera Of LG G6:


One of the highlights of LG G6 is its camera. There is dual 13 MP (Megapixel) camera on the back of the phone (One is standard camera and next one is wide-angle lens camera). Now, you won’t be having two different resolutions in camera like LG G5 or LG V20. LG has also improved the transition between the two cameras and made it smoother. The front facing camera is 5 MP (Megapixel) with some of the interesting features like wide-angle selfie.

LG has improved the interface of the camera using two squares, as using 18:9 display can handle two different sets of display at once. On the left hand side, you can take the photo and on the right hand side you can judge the photos. The new feature also allows you to see multiple preview of the photo that you have taken.

Now, LG G6 has got manual video recording which is the biggest change in camera.

Battery Of LG G6:


LG G6 has huge battery of 3300mAh, which was obviously required considering it is a flagship device. One surprising thing about G6 is that it doesn’t have a removable battery. This means that you are going to get a sleek phone with non removable battery like any other flagship phone out there. It has got different power saving mode which you can choose according to your preference.

LG G6 is going to be the flagship phone for 2017. Overall, the phone has got everything that a good smartphone should have. It has fantastic design, solid performance and good battery life.
