I a m way into my middle ages and I find even the butterfly stretch not easy (I am a beginner.) As soon as I am in the butterfly position I can barely bend my upper body down. Any suggestions to overcome that please?

it would be better if you decide that, your style of presentation, simplicity are important

I started TKD 9 months ago at age 50. I have realized that I have a very limited range of motion, in my hips and limited muscle flexibility. I stretch everyday in addition to my workouts and have found that is very beneficial to me. My muscles don't have the memory they did when I was younger. I also only push my stretches to a limit so I don't injure myself. I have found this stretching routine very useful. Thanks

I feel the groin stretch a bit more on the first stretch and have difficulties moving my body forward during the first stretch. Any tips? Thanks

thanks for some great tips. I'm just looking to increase my flexibility and been watching a few videos and yours seems to be one that makes sense. As I get older and I know 43 is not that old, but as I get older I'm more interested in working on my flexibility and core work out then getting bigger. And you seem fine in front of the camera btw. Thanks again.

Excellent, I'm older and working through an old injury and trying to get my kicks stronger and higher…this has helped a lot!  Thank you for sharing, I have immense respect and confidence in my instructor but can always, always learn from others and other disciplines.

Your description said it was boring.  I really appreciated the detail in depth overview of the kinetic chain and how the muscles overlap.  Being a bit older than most training in the martial arts; flexibility has been a real challenge.  Thank you for putting this together.  I look forward to pt.2 where I hope you go into more detail on the actual program you use.
