I have a question… I am extremely extremely small like just starting and not even at 200 subscribers. Haven't been able to be consistent due to dealing with a lot of medical complications in the past several years.

I had a company reach out to me because they were interested in my doing a review for them and trying their products but they wanted to offer me a discount to purchase the product and then also provide a discount for any of the subscribers that I had, that may want to purchase the item as well. How do you feel about this? Do you think this is wrong? I originally responded saying that Id be interested bc the item does peek my interest but I also know how much work it actually takes to make a video and to fully edit it, and the time involved that it seemed a little bit like I was losing out bc they want me to promote them but at the same time I have to buy them. its a product that I actually never heard of but looked it up and it seems interesting but at the same time its not something I would rush to go get now that I know of it either. I feel like this is probably something I will pass on but wanted your advice for this particular situation for if it ever comes up again in the future (so I know how to handle it).

Thank you so much for all your help and making this video. Would love to have a video talking about the average one should kind of charge to start out with. There isn't any help on what should be charged.. How do we know what is reasonable to ask for and what is considered "being taking advantage of". Would love to just get an idea of what one may ask, charge, for their services, this way we have a slight idea of what is acceptable and what is not. (Not discussing what you charge but maybe some examples or scenarios and ideas.)

    Thank you so much again.

How do the rates work with social media influencers? I've heard a couple people talking about rates in general. But they never talk about them in detail. I know this differs from person to person. How would I know what's a decent one to start with?

hello, no one ever offered me any money, but I do receive products and I am assuming sending the products is the form of payment. How do you tell them you also want to get paid.. doing a video or a blog entry takes a lot of time. oxo

I'm so glad you're putting this out there girl! I wish there were more videos like this a few months ago lol. I'm just starting out and I've had brands talk me into working with them who asked that I buy their products to show off, then never held up their parts of the "deal"😭

Pleaseeee do a part 3! Lol! I really want to thank you for doing these because I just started my channel about 3 weeks ago purely because I love makeup but I deff hope to one day become an influencer like you!

I do have a question, I am Brazilian but grew up in the US so I consider myself more American than Brazilian. Since I do speak Portuguese, do you think it's a good idea for me to do translation of my videos? It's a lot of work to do and I don't want to do it if brands don't really care about videos being translated or not.

Or do you have any recommendations as to what o should do ( if anything at all) about being bilingual. Thank you so much for your feedback!!
