India’s First pod taxi will be on the way

- Soon the dream will be in reality, India’s first pod taxi will be on the way.
- The project of Rs 4000-crore pod taxi scheme is also know as PRT (Personal Rapid Transit )
- It will execute on Delhi – Gurgaon corridor which is about 12.30 km long.
- The automated people mover (APM) standards in the US as recommended by the committee for the maiden PRT in India have been prepared by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
As the technology is growing faster, our country India is also a developing country. The new technologies were going the part of India, soon the dream will be in reality as our India’s first pod taxis will be on the way.
This is a high level project of NHAI and it also need high level of strict safety standards. This is one of the big budget project of National Highway Authority Of India ( NHAI ), it is a project of Rs. 4000- crore pod taxis scheme which is also known as PRT (Personal Rapid Transit ), this a dream project of Highway minister Nitin Gadkari and the NHAI has been mandated to execute it on Delhi-Gurgaon pilot corridor (12.30 km) from Delhi-Haryana border to Rajiv Chowk in Gurgaon on a PPP (public-private partnership) basis.
